The purpose of Joy & Gladness Children’s Center is to give back to the community through love for the people, especially in caring for their children. This is demonstrated through my patience and motivation while caring for foster children and the adoption of three children. We desire to teach and encourage literacy in children and prepare adults for higher education.
By communicating with people of all ages and backgrounds, we desire to open a school that will cater to at least 100+ children within the Brooklyn Community while at the same time establishing a center for adult literacy learning. Joy & Gladness’s future plans include providing a scholarship program to assist in some child education, in addition to funding an educational project in Haiti.
